Gore Hill firefighters work to suppress grass and wild land fires. Firefighters work to protect structures and property that may be threatened by grass or wild land fires.

A brush truck wet lines the perimiter of a fire in a hay field. Fire suppression is done from the black to provide a safety barrier for the firefighters and apparatus.

The driver/operator's job is to get the fire crew to the fire scene safely, and to run the pump to provide the water/foam for fire suppression.
